Wellbeing
At Huntingtower, wellbeing is the foundation of a successful education. We believe that students learn best when they feel safe, connected and valued, and we are committed to nurturing the wellbeing of every child from Prep to Year 12.
Guided by our Christian Science values and our simple yet powerful principle to always be kind, we foster a culture where respect, compassion and inclusion are embedded in everyday school life. Every student is known as an individual and supported to develop confidence, resilience and a strong sense of purpose within a caring and inclusive community.

Strong Relationships At Every Stage
Wellbeing is supported through strong partnerships between students, families and staff. In the Junior School, classroom teachers play a central role in knowing and nurturing each child, while in the Senior School, every student belongs to a Mentor group, providing regular opportunities to build meaningful relationships with a trusted teacher who supports both their academic progress and personal development. Dedicated wellbeing programs across all year levels help students develop emotional intelligence, positive relationships, organisational skills and strategies to navigate the opportunities and challenges of each stage of their education.

A Connected Wellbeing Network
Our comprehensive network of support includes Year Level Coordinators, Heads of House, Learning Enrichment staff, School Counsellors and the Head of Wellbeing, who work collaboratively with families to ensure every student is encouraged to flourish academically, socially and emotionally. Whether celebrating success or navigating challenges, students are supported every step of the way in an environment where they are inspired to realise their unlimited potential.
Huntingtower would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
