Curriculum & Learning Pathways
Secondary school at Huntingtower is a journey of growth, discovery and increasing independence. At each year level the curriculum is meaningfully designed to build the knowledge, skills and character required for future success
Beyond the Curriculum
Huntingtower's signature programs encourage students to step outside their comfort zones, embrace new experiences and discover strengths they may not yet know they possess. These experiences are intentionally designed to foster curiosity, resilience, independence and compassion.
Individual Needs
At Huntingtower, we recognise that every student learns differently and has unlimited potential. Our Learning Enrichment team works collaboratively with teachers, families and students to provide personalised support that enables every learner to experience success, confidence and growth.
Support is individually tailored to each student's needs and may include targeted small group or individual programs, classroom adjustments, learning assessments, Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and the coordination of Special Provisions where appropriate. Programs are developed in consultation with classroom teachers and parents to ensure a consistent and supportive approach across the student's educational journey.
Our Learning Enrichment team also works closely with the Heads of School, Wellbeing team, Counsellors and classroom teachers to identify strengths, remove barriers to learning and ensure students are equipped with the strategies and confidence to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. This collaborative approach reflects Huntingtower's commitment to kindness, optimism and helping every student realise their full potential.
