Volunteering
Volunteers make a valued contribution to school life, generously sharing their time, experience and skills across a range of activities and programs.
Huntingtower encourages an open and friendly learning environment, which values community participation and volunteer involvement. Our volunteers may be parents, guardians, carers of students at the School, alumni or members of the broader school or local community.
Ready to Volunteer?
We are grateful to the many volunteers who already make a significant contribution to the School by bringing different levels of expertise and skills to the curriculum as well as the cocurricular program.
The School is committed to the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people. As part of the School's commitment to the Victorian Government's Child Safe Standards, all Huntingtower volunteers must:
- hold a current Working with Children Check
- be included on the School’s Volunteer Register, and
- complete the required online induction before undertaking volunteer activities. Volunteers will be required to re-validate their Volunteer Induction annually.
