Learn from Music Specialists
Private tuition is available across a broad range of instruments taught by experienced professional musicians.
Lessons are held during school times and are scheduled on a fortnightly rotating basis so disruption to the same academic lessons is minimal. Typically, students receive 16 lessons per semester ranging from 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes in length. Additional lessons can be requested in consultation with your child's instrumental teacher.
Lessons are individually tailored, allowing every student to progress at their own pace while building confidence and musical understanding.
The Experience of Live Performance
Huntingtower has a proud reputation for its excellent music program which provides all students with the opportunity to be a part of choirs and chamber choirs, orchestras, concert and jazz bands, brass, woodwind and string ensembles.
Huntingtower Ensemble groups have year-round opportunities to perform at well-regarded and prestigious events including concerts and regional and international competitions.
Performance transforms learning into unforgettable experiences. Every Ensemble becomes a community where students lift and inspire one another to achieve their personal best.
Huntingtower would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
