Principal's Welcome

At Huntingtower, every individual is viewed as an unlimited expression or spiritual reflection of God. Christian values form the basis of our school. The beliefs that are engendered through encouraging optimism and positive reflection create attitudes that ensure success.

Welcome to Huntingtower School

Mrs Shan Christensen, Principal

When you visit Huntingtower, you will be warmly welcomed by our wonderful students and staff. Our magnificent gardens and grounds provide a tranquil environment where everyone can thrive.

The spiritual foundation of our school is evident in every aspect of our community. Though we do not teach religion specifically, we emphasise a values-based approach in all our activities. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing a desire to learn and be a beneficial presence. What unites Huntingtower is a belief in the boundless potential within all of us.

Our motto, “Nosce te Ipsum” or “Know thy true self,” highlights the importance of self-awareness, empathy and personal reflection in overcoming challenges. Guided by our golden rule, ‘to always be kind in all ways,’ we encourage consideration for others and deep self-understanding.

At Huntingtower, we are committed to creating an environment where it is possible to realise the boundless potential that resides in all of us. We have exemplary music, sport and outdoor education programs that extend learning beyond the classroom. Our diverse extra-curricular offerings cater to the varied interests of our student body.
