Help Lower Our Carbon Footprint
by Donating the Cost of a Solar Panel
Electricity is the school’s biggest cost, after salaries.
It also contributes the largest amount to the school’s carbon
footprint.
The solar system on our STEM / Enviro House has shown us the
learnings and the emissions savings that can be made.
Now is the time to magnify that across the campus. For that we
need your help.
By donating $450, the cost of one solar panel, you become one of
our “Green” families or friends*.
To achieve a 200-kilowatt system we need 400 panels. This
would produce 645 kilowatts per day on average and offset
approximately 250 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions per year.
This is the equivalent of planting 6,545 trees every year!
